Accounts Payable Coordinator

Job Summary

The Accounts Payable Coordinator reports to the Chief Financial Officer. The successful candidate for this position must demonstrate the ability to complete the full cycle of accounts payable.  This includes: receiving, tracking, coding, and entering vendor invoices sent in by ten locations; ensuring proper approvals; reconciling discrepancies; paying vendor invoices; communicating with vendors and management employees; and maintaining physical and electronic records of all transactions.  


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Accounts payable process
  • Cash balance tracking
  • Other duties as assigned


  • 2 years’ experience in accounts payable.
  • Must be proficient in Excel.
  • Type at least 60 WPM.
  • Ten key by touch.
  • Prior full-charge bookkeeper experience preferred. 
  • Experience with QuickBooks and all Microsoft Office programs strongly preferred.   

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear, bend, stand, walk; use hands, and reach with hands and arms. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.

Work Environment: This job operates in a casual business office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, scanners, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
