Job Functions: What you’ll be doing: Responsible and will oversee front & back of the house of Andy B’s restaurant, lane-side service, quick service counter, and event catering to our party/banquet rooms. F&B Manager reports to the General Manager (GM).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve budgeted revenue, COGS & labor cost targets throughout the financial year
  • Targets for COGS%: Food 33%, Draft 30%, Bottle 31%, Liquor 25%, Beverage 28%
  • Develop menu items & recipes for restaurant, catering & bar that are profitable & stay on trend.
  • Maintains restaurant appearance and facility to company standards.
  • Greet every guest with a smile, eye contact, and enthusiasm. *Ideally within 10 ft.
  • May interview, hire, train, supervise, or terminate employees.
  • Manages and trains team members in both front & back of the house.
  • Manages the inventory and order food and beverages, equipment, and supplies.
  • Exhibits a high degree of judgment, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Work with event sales team to ensure the best experience for our groups & parties.
  • Create & manage systems for optimum efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Investigates and resolve guest complaints.
  • Ensures team members comply with all health and safety standards and regulations.
  • Know & adhere to all liquor laws, and maintain records required by government agencies.
  • Provides exceptional guest service and leads by example.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Demonstrated judgment, decision making, and conflict resolution skills with guests, staff, and peers. 
  • Good listener, patient in stressful situations and genuine in a desire to resolve issues.
  • Team Member retention and development: minimizing turnover through solid hiring and engagement activities; internal promotions and cross-training.
  • Solid follow-through on problems and issues; solutions that address root causes; recommendations that can be broadly implemented across Restaurant department.

Job Requirements: What you’ll bring

  • A college degree or five years related experience in the hospitality field, restaurant and/or events preferred.
  • Culinary experience preferred in restaurant, hospitality or entertainment industries.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, solid executive presence, self-confidence, and professional maturity.
  • Exhibits a high degree of judgment, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Successful completion of T.I.P.S training & test.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at any level.
  • Solid computer skills and proficient in math skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, dependability, and professionalism.
  • Abide by company dress code policy.
